Our Staff

Amanda

Practice Manager

Hello, I’m Amanda! I am a mom to four dogs, three guinea pigs, two cats, and one small human. I’ve always known I wanted to work with either children or animals. I received my BA in Mathematics Education, but ultimately decided the veterinary field is where I truly belong. I am currently taking classes for my certification. Although I have been promoted, my passion is still working as a technician, so you will still see me helping all around the hospital. I look forward to meeting you and your furry loved ones!

Stacie

Technician Manager

Hello! My name is Stacie. I’ve been a technician at Indian Head Animal Hospital since April of 2008. I’ve wanted to work with animals since I was a young girl. I have a Labrador Retriever named River, a cat named Freyja, a rabbit named Finn, and two geckos named Loki and Thor. My hobbies include animals, hiking, traveling, music, movies/pop culture, outdoor activities, and gaming. My favorite part of my job is assisting with surgery and the care of our senior patients.

Ivano

Handyman

Ivano is Dr. Stacey’s husband and a self – employed contractor.  Therefore, he has become the “resident handyman” at Indian Head Animal Hospital.  He keeps our older building in good shape, and is often called in to repair a problem on short notice.  Ivano was born in Tregioro, Italy, a small town in the Alps and moved to this area when he was 9 years old.  He graduated from Friendly High School and later married Dr. Stacy in 2003.

Brianna

veterinary receptionist

Hi my name is Brianna! I started working at Indian Head Animal Hospital January of 2021, but I’ve been a veterinary receptionist since January of 2018. I am a cat mom of two, Yogi and Clara. Outside of work I love to travel, cook, go out with friends, and dance (even though I’m not good at it). I am looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

Sky

veterinary receptionist

Hi! My name is Skylar and I’ve been working at IHAH since April of 2023. I’ve wanted to work with animals since I was a little girl and I’m so thankful to be here! In my free time I like to play frisbee with my dog, Harlee and go out with my friends! I can’t wait to meet you all and your fur babies.

Andrew

Lead Veterinary Technician

My name is Andrew and I have been working as a veterinarian technician for roughly 10 years. Before that, I worked at both a groomer and a rescue facility. I absolutely love animals. I currently have 5 cats, 1 bunny, 1 turtle and 2 dogs. If I’m not wrangling them, I’m hanging with my wife and playing with my 2 kids. I am very excited to be part of the IHAH staff and look forward to helping you get your pet the help and care he/she needs.

Lindsay

veterinary technician

Hi, my name is Lindsay. I started at IHAH Oct 2020 and I am loving being apart of this family. By the age of 8 I knew I wanted to work with animals. I begin by career in a cat only practice in Fall Church, VA eight years ago as a veterinary assistant. I enjoy learning as much as I can so that I can further assist in caring for your furry family member.
In my free time I enjoy long walks, gaming/streaming, car culture, arts and crafts, journaling, looking at anime and drama series from all over the world, dancing and cooking. I am currently in school for Networking and Cybersecurity.

Prue

emotional support provider

I came to IHAH as a stray and very wary of humans. I quickly got over my suspicions and have become everyone’s favorite employee, despite the fact that I spend most of my time lying around on the job. I am a lover of treats and playing with my toys. My main hobby is making biscuits, at which I am a pro.
