Our Staff

Amanda

Practice Manager

Hello, I’m Amanda! I am a mom to three dogs, two cats, and one tiny human. I’ve always known I wanted to work with either children or animals. I received my BA in Mathematics Education, but ultimately decided the veterinary field is where I truly belong.  I am currently taking classes for my certification. Although my main position and passion is as a technician, you will occasionally see me up at reception. I look forward to meeting you and your furry loved ones!

Stacie

Technical Manager

Hello! My name is Stacie. I’ve been a technician at Indian Head Animal Hospital since April of 2008. I’ve wanted to work with animals since I was a young girl. I have a Labrador Retriever named Luna. My hobbies include animals, hiking, traveling, music, movies/pop culture, outdoor activities, and gaming. My favorite part of my job is assisting with surgery and the care of our senior patients.

Ivano

Ivano is Dr. Stacey’s husband and a self – employed contractor.  Therefore, he has become the “resident handyman” at Indian Head Animal Hospital.  He keeps our older building in good shape, and is often called in to repair a problem on short notice.  Ivano was born in Tregioro, Italy, a small town in the Alps and moved to this area when he was 9 years old.  He graduated from Friendly High School and later married Dr. Stacy in 2003.

Dana

My name is Dana.  I have worked at the Indian Head Animal Hospital since June of 1998.  I have 2 wonderful daughters named Kayla and Lauren.  We have lots of family pets; an Italian Mastiff named Mac, two chihuahuas named Twink and Pepper, and a Rottweiler named Foots Parker.  I have grown up around animals and I want to learn all about them.  I have learned so much from working here and I enjoy caring for all kinds of animals.

Brianna

veterinary receptionist

Hi my name is Brianna! I started working at Indian Head Animal Hospital January of 2021, but I’ve been a veterinary receptionist since January of 2018. I am a cat mom of two, Yogi and Clara. Outside of work I love to travel, cook, go out with friends, and dance (even though I’m not good at it). I am looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

Nick

Hello my name is Nicholas but you can call me Nick. I was lucky enough to have found myself working at IHAH thankful for the opportunity, but my original path to life wasn’t always for the well being of animals. initially human medicine was my focus and interestingly life threw a curve ball my way altering it for the better. I found myself starting at a humble Animal shelter caring for all sorts of fur babies for a few years finding them their new forever homes and from there I knew that the change was what was needed. I’m a rather simple person but in all honesty I am a bit obsessed with cats so if you’re ever at IHAH and you see me don’t hesitate to strike up a conversation I’ll gladly do my best to listen and help you any way that I can. I look forward to seeing each and every one of you and of course your companion.

Roxann

Veterinary Technician

My name is Roxann and I have been a member of the IHAH team since October of 2012. I have been in this field as a technician for 22 years and I can honestly say that each and every day I am constantly learning something new. I love cats and feline medicine. Surgery fascinates me a great deal.

In my spare time I love curling up with a good book, spending time with my daughter Willa, cooking, gardening, hiking, and thrift stores. I am currently taking courses through FEMA in order to gain a spot in the Maryland volunteer Veterinary CORP as a disaster relief Veterinary Technician.

I look forward to meeting you and having the chance to help provide care for your fur babies

Lindsay

veterinary assistant

Hi, my name is Lindsay. I started at IHAH Oct 2020 and I am loving being apart of this family. By the age of 8 I knew I wanted to work with animals. I begin by career in a cat only practice in Fall Church, VA eight years ago as a veterinary assistant. I enjoy learning as much as I can so that I can further assist in caring for your furry family member.
In my free time I enjoy long walks, gaming/streaming, car culture, arts and crafts, journaling, looking at anime and drama series from all over the world, dancing and cooking. I am currently in school for Networking and Cybersecurity.

Andrew

Veterinary Technician

My name is Andrew and I have been working as a veterinarian technician for roughly 10 years. Before that, I worked at both a groomer and a rescue. I absolutely love animals. I currently have 4 cats, 2 bunnies, 1 turtle and 1 dog. If I’m not wrangling them, I’m hanging with my wife and playing with my little boy who was born in 2019. I am very excited to be part of the IHAH staff and look forward to helping you get your pet the help and care he/she needs. !

Kayla

veterinary assistant

Hello! My name is Kayla, and I am an assistant here at Indian Head Animal Hospital (IHAH).  I recently joined the IHAH family in October of 2020, but have been taking my fur babies here for many years. This is my first position in this type of environment and I’m enjoying working somewhere new and so rewarding! I have a BA in History with a concentration in Public History but have wanted to work with animals my whole life. My hobbies include reading, watching movies, and cosmetics. I have one dog named Chewy where I live now and three cats named Runt, Curio, and Coolio with my significant other. I look forward to meeting your fur babies too!

Katlynn

Hi, My name is Katlynn. I’m one of the newest member of the IHAH team. I am relatively new to the animal field, but I’ve grown up around animals my whole life. I’m so excited to meet you and care for your precious fur babies. ☺

Chris

IT Manager

Hi, I’m Chris and I take care of all the computer systems here at the hospital. My job is to keep all the records, computer systems and information secure and up to date. I have been working on computer systems since the early 80”s, being in charge of network security for large police departments and businesses in the area. I have been working for Indian Head Animal Hospital for over 10 years. Being around animals and the people here, I would consider this the most enjoyable job I have had (except when something breaks down late at night). My family and I have been bringing our dogs here since the early 60’s where they have had the best care anywhere. I currently live in Ft. Washington and bring my Golden Retriever, Brandon, in for visits and his healthcare.
